The incident occurred at 1425 West Wells Branch Parkway in Pflugerville at around 3:40 a.m. on March 14.
According to police investigations, Torres showed aggressive behavior towards people ordering in the take-out drive-through counter, allegedly driving behind a black pickup truck and honking his horn at the pickup’s driver to prompt him to hurry.
The two men had an argument, leading Torres to reach out the window of his vehicle as he passed the black pickup to stab the driver in the chest.
Torres admitted to stabbing the man at the drive-through because he believed the man was trying to rob him.
