Twenty-eight-year-old Hollywood actress Amanda Bynes was arrested early Sunday morning, September 28 and charged with suspicion of driving while under the influence in Los Angeles, California, authorities reported last Monday, September 29.
According to police records, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) trooper stopped Bynes in the middle of an intersection in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles at around 4 a.m. A statement released by the CHP said Bynes was suspected to be under the influence of a yet-to-be-identified drug.
Bynes, who has been involved in a string of drunk driving incidents in previous years, reportedly cooperated with the authorities throughout the process. She posted a $15,000 bail and was soon released thereafter.
